If God communicates His intention through His servants the prophets, and Satan counterfeits the messages of God through false prophets, then it is vital that we test the prophets to see if the message is indeed from God. On one hand, the Scriptures admonish us to "Despise not prophesyings" (1 Thessalonians 5:2) and to "Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper" (2 Chronicles 20:20).
As with a solid dissolving in a liquid, a gas dissolves in a liquid more easily with agitation or mixing, but that is where the similarity ends. Remove a carbonated beverage from its container and it becomes obvious that pressure is necessary to keep the gas in the liquid. The drink fizzes and bubbles, releasing the gas. As the beverage sits for a few hours, the taste becomes what we describe as 'flat.' Almost all of the carbon dioxide has escaped from the liquid. The only CO 2 remaining in the water will produce a partial pressure equal to the partial pressure of the gas in the atmosphere. Water carries dissolved oxygen from the partial pressure of the oxygen in the atmosphere.
He says he has calmed down, however. “It’s just from having a number of years playing at the top level. It is a technical sport but you also just need experience. We’re lucky in the front row where you can keep getting better the older you get. “Sometimes my focus has been lacking because it’s very easy to get carried away with the emotion of the game, especially at Test level where you’re playing in front of enormous crowds and playing the anthem at the start. It’s very easy to lose focus and not do the right thing at the right time. Over the years I’ve learned to stop getting carried away so much and just make sure I’m switched on at the right times.”
